<title>Sustainable Building</title>
<description>Does anyone have experience with building sustainable housing? I&#039;m trying to build a house on my own using alternative, sustainable methods. Some techniques I&#039;ve read about include earth bag, cordwood, straw bale, and earthship construction. I live in NH, so winters are cold and the rest of the year can be very rainy. I&#039;m looking for minimal cost, maximum sustainability.

<title>Green Building Materials</title>
<description>Would You Use Green Building Materials Vs. Brick? I have joined this site I think is pretty cool for Go Green.
Green Building using recycled materials saves you a ton of money. You get instant equity, cash flow, better quality per dollar spent and cost the same as building with stick and frame.

What do You Think?

<title>Green Living Solutions</title>
<description>I want to know more about the ridiculousness of green living? I recently read a very interesting article in GQ magazine on how overspending and inefficient some green living solutions are. I decided to choose this as my topic for my semester&#039;s research paper. But I have not found any websites that focus on this. Anyone knows?
Updates: I am very surprised to see such amount of answers for a short period of time. All I can say is that I am very appreciate your contributions. But there is some misunderstanding (and accusations) that I think I have to come clean in here:
-First of all, did I conclude that all living green solutions is a complete waste of time? No, when I said &quot;some&quot; it means &quot;some&quot;.
-For the word &quot;ridiculousness&quot; I admit it&#039;s a harsh one. But that&#039;s exactly what GQ used in the article about global warming ( it&#039;s the July 08 issues). I don&#039;t absolutely agree with its claim that we cannot stop global warming. But I cannot resist some of its inspiring arguments. That&#039;s why I chose it as my topic.
-Third, you have to agree with me that any solution always has some over-the-top ideas that we need to eliminate. I agree that the term &quot;green&quot; is being abused. That&#039;s why I am trying to understand fully about it.
FYI, I am a liberal college student who still doesn&#039;t want to own a car, rides a bike to school everyday, recycle as much as he can and takes care of his own garden. I am also an agnostic so your &quot;hell&quot; or &quot;God&quot; is not gonna work for me.

<title>Green Living Forums</title>
<description>Why would someone go into a forum marked for environment-green living and then act annoyed and suprised that? people in this forum are discussing ways to aid the environment. I freely admit that as with any good idea you will have some people whoose heart outreaches their mind or their willingness to research what they are trying to talk about. But why would people go into this category and needlessly attempt to discourage someone from attempting to save money and resources and to experience a sense of accomplishment for doing so. As am example I cite this question (put it in your browser to read)http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuREexAvnjXz3Th.N5Ai4zPsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090301031449AAYmEi9&amp;show=7#profile-info-MUcaYL0Paa

The individuals instead of responding to the question are they trying to make their lack of effort justified. Are they so ate up with the global warming/climate change war it spilled out of that battleground (Nothing was said about GW until a negative was added bringing it up) I would love to hear from both sides especially from people who want to discuss this (In other words e-mail enabled) Thanks to all
